All following events are a work in progress. Details and dates will be announced upon confirmation. We would love to support you in bringing more opportunities to our community. Let us know your idea and how we can support your initiative to make it happen!
Shows, clinics and educational talks are discounted or free SVEA members so be sure to renew your membership for 2019. We have both riding and non-riding (social) memberships available.

Dressage 101, Working equitation, Free round jump-nights, & Intro to Garrocha, Barrel racing & Pole bending technique.

February 24th - Equine Fitness and Conditioning- Information session with Coach Karen Hind - Time and location to be confirmed.
We are in the process of confirming more dates and topics for each of the equine professionals that service our community to conduct a presentation.
- Equine first aid - what to have in your first aid kit & when to call a vet.
- Equine fitness - how to improve the fitness of your horse and concerns/precautions along the way.
- Yoga for your horse - stretches to do with your horse before/after riding. Pressure points for relaxation.
- "No hoof, No horse"- understand the anatomy of the equine hoof and factors that effect it's growth/health.
- Show preparation - How to impress the judges - Rider presentation, tack care, braiding....
- Make a rope halter - DIY rope halter- learn how to tie the knots for your own custom rope halter!
- Camping with your horse - All you need to know to have an amazing time on holiday with your horse!
What else would you like to know?? Is there something you can offer to present or arrange? We'll help you make it happen!
