Information for Coaching at the SVEA Lands
SQUAMISH VALLEY EQUESTRIAN ASSOCIATION
COACHING POLICY
Effective: January 1, 2015
To all Squamish Valley Equestrian Association approved coaches and coaches seeking approval to instruct at the SVEA Land Riding Rings.
If you would like to teach at the SVEA Rings, the requirements are:
1. All Instructors must hold a “Coach Membership” with the SVEA, have current H.C.B.C. and membership to an HCBC approved organization.
2. All Instructors must submit a copy of their “Certificate of Insurance” to Secretary.
3. The District of Squamish must be added as “Additional Insured” to “Certificate of Insurance” with minimum $5million liability coverage.
4. All Instructors must be a member in good standing with the SVEA and have agreed to the “Acknowledgement of Risk and Release of Liability Waiver”.
5. All Instructors teaching the SVEA rings are responsible for making sure their students using the facilities are current S.V.E.A. members in good standing and have agreed to the Acknowledgement of Risk and Release of Liability Waiver.
6. A list of lesson participants along with their Horse Council Membership Numbers must be given to secretary prior to scheduled event.
7. All clinics must be supervised by the SVEA Show Committee
